4/17/2015 Tonight’s concert will happen rain or shine, We are making back up plans to have the concert inside in case of rain!
Harvest is here!
Our first harvest date will be Saturday, August 23. We invite you to join our crew and help bring in the 2014 vintage crop. We start picking at 7am and go until around noon. We will have lunch and wine provided for all our pickers. You will also receive a Wheat State harvest crew t-shirt! While you are resting in the air-conditioned winery, we will start our crush process. We invite everyone to stay and watch. This concert is $10 per carload. Load up your friends and designated driver! No advanced tickets, pay at gate. Bring your lawn chair, picnic basket and blanket. Doors open 6:00pm.
Calling all trail runners, adventurous people, casual runners, wine drinkers, and everyone else!! Reserve the date of Saturday, May 3, 2014 because that is the day of the Wheat State Wine Co. We are currently booking artists for our 2014 Uncork the Music Concert Series. The series lineup will be unveiled soon!
The WSWCo. crew is getting ready to attend the annual KGGWA conference in Topeka. Along for the ride will be the 2012 vintages for the annual “Wine of the Year” tasting. Last year WSWCo. brought home the award “Kansas wine of the Year” for Ad Astra. Stay tuned for the outcome. The conference is January 17-18. WSWCo. will be closed Friday, January 17th, but will be open for regular hours Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19.
Join us Friday, December 6th from 6pm-8pm for our official Trespass release party. Tickets are $20 per person. Hors’ devours will be served as well as Trespass and our other fine wines. Local musicians Tanner Seidel and Alex Munoz will be entertaining us also. Come mingle with us as we introduce you to Trespass and talk about how it came into fruition.

Harvest is drawing closer. Since the sun has decided to stay out for the next week, we are setting a harvest date. Saturday, August 31 is the day. We will be starting at 7am. Donuts and College Hill coffee will be provided. We will pick until noon and then lunch will also be provided, as well as your noon glass of wine. After lunch we will start crush and invite anyone who wants to stay and watch to do so. It is a fun and unique process to see. If you are interested or want more information, call or email us. Piper Leigh and the Smoking Section are going to serenade us with some sweet tunes as we pop the tops of some of the NEW 2012 vintage of Flat Pick. Come and be one of the first to taste and take home this new release. The concert is on the house, the wine is not…we promise it is worth it though.
The concert is Saturday May 25 and starts at 7pm, come early to grab your seat or piece of grass!
